The right
If you are a consumer in the EU you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital content, without giving a reason.
To withdraw, tell us in a clear statement. An email to contact@castoflasher.com is enough. There is no form to fill in.
If you withdraw in time, we refund everything you paid, using the same means of payment, within 14 days.
How that right ends early, and why we ask
Preparing your files starts as soon as you buy, because the whole point of the product is that you are standing next to your car. Once that has started, the work has been done for your car specifically and cannot be undone or resold.
So at the moment of purchase the app asks you to agree to two things, as real checkboxes with real wording, and stores what you saw along with your answer:
"I understand this purchase is for this car only."
"I ask you to start straight away, and I understand that once your servers begin preparing my files I lose the 14 day right to withdraw."
The second one is the express request the law requires. Until you tick it, nothing is prepared and nothing is charged.
What we do anyway
The waiver is about the automatic right, not about whether we treat you fairly.
If an installation cannot be completed, you get your money back in full whether or not you waived anything.
If a feature you paid for turns out not to fit your car, you get your money back in full.
If something else has gone wrong, write to us and say so.
